Bodyguard is a remake of the Malayalam superhit movie BODYGUARD. The plot of Bodyguard revolves around young Salman, who adulates people with a trace of heroism and moves with that person as a bodyguard. Eventually Salman starts admiring Ashokan, who is a former liquor tycoon and is now a big businessman. Salman Khan starts to adulate Ashokan and wishes to be his bodyguard, which Ashokan refuses. Salman Khan later approaches Ashokan with a recommendation from someone he cannot refuse and saves Ashokan from danger and becomes his bodyguard.
