Anushka Sharma was born on 1st May, 1988 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Her father name is Akhil Sharma, who is a highly ranked Army Officer and her mother is a housewife. She has one elder brother who is in the Merchant Navy.
She studied in Army School in Bangalore. After then excelled to achieve a graduation specialized in arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She is currently studying for a degree in economics at Mount Carmel, which she is completing through correspondence.
Anushka Sharma, signed up with the Elite Modeling Agency. She began her modeling career at the Lakme Fashion Week and was a show-stopper at Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show. It wasn’t long time modeling before Bollywood started chasing her. She was signed with produced by Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with bollywood king Khan means Sharukh Khan in 2008.
